kms, condition, ever been dropped are all things you might wanna answer first...if all is well and has decent kms then maybe 6K

The same as the other one 8500-9000 KM's dont really mean shit on bikes. As long as its clean (not dropped etc) its worth that.

Heres a thought, go look on trader.ca and see what they are selling for.

There are only two r6's on the trader and one of them doesn't even have a price on it.

It's 2005 has about 2000kms never been dropped and color Blue.

Not really.

The '06 bike should be out, or out soon. Plus it is the end of the season. I bet you could find a deal like that from someone who is desperate to get cash.

Bike seem to change once a year, or at a minimum 2 years. By this time next year, the 2005 R6 will be an OLD bike.

New models every 2 years; next year for the R6 is the "new" one.

OK maybe, but still, unless the seller is a crack whore who realllly needs the money, you'd get more than $6k for an 05 bike. Personally if I saw an '05 for sale and it was only 6k I'd wonder what was wrong with it. :dunno:

Why do you have to be a crack whore. There are many "student" fire sales that happen when tuition is due.

True but I dont think that a "starving student" wants to loose 6 K over a summer!

sigh.

Yes I know that.

But you're missing the point.

Lets try this then. A new 600 retails for around 11k. So lets say you bought it last year. Now you want to sell it, and you would only expect 6k. So the bike has depreciated 5k in one year, or 45%?!?!?!?!?!?!? I don't think so.

Even somebody extremely desperate to unload the bike would get 8k for it. Of course this is assuming that the bike is in good condition.

blah ok I'm done now.

Yeah I agree, 8k or so.. If I could get them for 6 I would have a truck load of them headin for the east coast to make some $$$...

even now 8g for that bike is a awsome price. if it hasn't been dropped. blackfoot has the the same bike i have 2001 honda cbr 600 f4i for 7999$ with 24000kms

either way it's worht way more than 6g i'd say close to 9g

$8000 for a 2001 cbr with that many km's, now that's retarded. you'd be lucky to get $6000. an 03 cbr 600 rr with half the km's is worth around $8000.

Dealerships always inflate the price. Goes for bikes as well as cars.
