I just bought a set of 16's for my teg and its been lowered 2''
and I cant decide if I should get 40 or 45 series rubber. I dont think rubbing will be an issue cuz I previously had 15's with 50 series and they didnt rub, but a few ppl are saying that I will have rubbing issues with the 45's and I should get 40's but I afraid if I get the 40's they wont fill up the wheel well nicley. So if some of you guys know of anybody running 16-45 's on a droped teg could you let me know if they had any issues. Thanks

45 or 50 even, dont go with 40 unless youre going with 17's the tire will be too skinny and itll look ridiculous

I wouldn't be too concerned about the series to choose from first. The width of the tire is where you should be worried about rubbing.

Stock for an Integra should have been 195/55/R15 = 23.45" Diameter.

Proper 16 size would be 205/45/R16 = 23.26". The 0.19" difference is diameter shouldn't make too much difference with your speedometer.

Your buddy probably had 205/40/R17 = 23.46"

Hope this helps.
