Hey whats up guys! As some of you probably know, my car was stolen and recovered and as of today, the insurance company has decided to write off the car. For this reason I am in the market for a new car! Here's what i'm looking for:

-Import cars (german or japanese) (not american)
-Late 90's BMW 3-series
-Late 90's or 2000 Audi A4
-Late 90's or 2000 Jetta or Golf
-2001+ Honda Civic
-Something less than $17 000
-Anything else in this Price Range?

-Preferably in Calgary/Area
-Preferably under 100 000 km
-A/C is a Must
-As many power options as possible

So theres a list for now, let me know what you guys have got!!!

Oh yeah please PM me rather than clutter up the thread. Thanks a lot guys!

Base new civic is just a touch over 18k if that interests you. Or use the 17k and make payments of $200 on it for the next 60 months until you can buy something bigger and better.

If your interested, its only going to be $13,250 for a couple more days.

With the left over money you could get alot of nice things or bank it for the future.

I looked into financing and leasing a car, but financially it isnt what i want as a student. I dont want to owe money. PLus it was a rip lol

For a 2006 RSX Premium
Lease: 5000 down, 320$/Month for 48 months. Not bad, but the dealership requires collision coverage, which bumps me up to 458$/Month for insurance. So we were looking at around 5000$ down, and 780$/Month for a car i wont own at the end. NO thanks

Finance: 5000 Down, 674$/Month for 48 Months. Sounds better, considering i own the car at the end. But then im paying 37 352$ for a 28 500$ car. And then we found out that the dealership still wants collision coverage to protect their money. Another 458$/Month. In total, thats 5000$ down, and 1132$/month for 4 years. No thanks

All in all, i think i'll just pay cash for a lightly used car.
