Any idea where i could get it done and for how much.

That would be a CDMA handset. The handset is serialized and assigned to the specific network. In your case Bell or maybe virgin mobile. So no it cant be unlocked.

No. It is a GSM phone. It is a PC mobile

There are nokia calculators all over the internet that can give you the code for free.

so even for a 6101? is unlocking as simple as typing a code?

For every nokia i've used, yes its as simple as entering a code. The only thing is that i've never used a higher end nokia but others can elaborate and have good unlockers.

Provider and IMEI. I got the phone used so i don't have the IMEI so that is mo problem

i did it and gave me like 6 lines of 20 digits, do i have to type all this in.....ill post it up later cuz i dont even know what some of it means ...with "pw" and such

which of that do i type in? and what the hell does "#pw+" mean ??? sorry im a dumbass

Turn your phone on with your simcard out and you can enter it there.

The #pw+ are entered with the pound and star key on your phone. They are right and left of the 0 key. Hit it once for star, more than once for the + sign.

I tired using *#06# to get the IMEI but it didn't work

The PW is exactly that - P, W. Type with with your keys. P is the "7" key, W is the "9" key.

Once you are done typing, it should prompt you to press enter or something like that. Not every nokia is the same so I apologize for the vagueness in my description.

you cant get to the letters though in that menu ....do i type it as 7 and 9?

k i did it and it says "Phone restriction on" then a stop sugn :dunno:

Wrong code, don't do it more than 3 times because your phone will lock up.
