I've done this for a friend here in town. It's actually very simple, if you've got any questions feel free to ask. We build office chairs in our shop to the tune of approx. 10,000/year and I'd be happy to help anyone who wants to do this

I just welded an X-brace to be sandwhiched between the rolling base and the seat brackets.

Not bad, but no angle adjustments, just the height. I put a control off of an executive chair, it's sweet, it'll rock back to front and the tension can be adjusted... Cool idea!

Can you hook people up with rolling bases? I have 2 extra MKII Supra seats that would rock ass as office/desk chairs. 8 way adjustable and lumbar support! :D

for the weight of those seats compared to what the legs are designed for... is it stable? like, would it tip over when your rocking on it? the chair itself looks disproportional to the legs! it's high up!:eek:

Can't supply bases, rescued mine from the trash at work.

The Sparco weighs ~17lbs so it's quite stable.

Angle is adjusable but not without a 15MM.

Can't fit any rocker in there because the seat won't fit under a desk then.
