Hi,
Just surfed on looking for information about bridged amps, but I actually have another question.
I have two 10" Sony Xplod subs, rated at 1100w, in separate inclosed boxes.
I have for the past day looked around my house for a 1200w Sony Xplod, 4 channel amp that I used to run with them, and I have just about given up looking for it.
I've been online looking for a new amp, and after reading the specifications of my old (hidden) amp. I have just about decided to buy a 1000w, 2 channel amp instead.
The reason I want the 2 channel is because I want 500w to each sub. I mean they used to really thump on the old amp, but I think I was only pushing about 200w to them.
To be honest I don't really know what I'm doing or what I should buy, and I'm not so sure how to bridge a four channel amp to 2 subs.
I would like to keep using these subs for now, but I would like to know, what would be the best matched amp for them. If you have a suggestion please post it.
Thanks.
