one of my buddies bought a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4.
within two months he managed to slide the fuck off the road and do this to it.

he was doing 75+ mph around a residential turn where the suggested speed for the turn was 30 mph.
i guess he thought that since he had all wheel drive and all wheel steering he could take any turn at whatever speed he liked. he slid into the shoulder of the road where alot of gravel was located and jumped someone's U-shaped driveway which launched him 20+ ft to the other entrance of the driveway. a large boulder stopped his car and tore the front right rim as if it were a piece of paper.
b/c his car was supposedly a special edition black with dark green flake factory paint, he managed to get $26,000 from the insurance company. he originally paid $21,000 for it.
