Hi,

My husband is restoring a 1982 3rd gen Trans am. When he first got it, it was in a right mess. Here are a few pics of how it started, through to how it look at the moment. He hopes to have in done in a few months.

Actually, going through the photos, its further on then this now so i will have to take some more. It now has been totally rubbed down and also has new doors on it too. He is thinking of spraying it cherry red with gold underneath. What do you think?

I didn't know that you could get trans-ams in the UK. Parts must be a huge bitch to get ahold of. Good luck with the project.

It will be interesting to see what he can make out of a rusted heap of shit. That looks like one hell of a project.

I was gonna say there must've been a better project car to start with, but I guess trans am's are harder to come by in the UK......come to forest lawn in calgary, we have probably 2 per house! Best of luck with the project, looks like its going well!

Yeah, parts can be a pain in the ass but he has got most of what he needs know. As i said, its further on then i thought, so i will take some more pics as soon as i can.
