your oil pressure seems to be getting a tad high

Hmmm, i noticed that too. i have noticed in the last couple days, that it kinda stays at about the 3/4 mark, then when i put it in neutral it goes down to about half way? should it be lower? should it be bouncing around that much?

I wouldn't worry much dude...your oil pump is driven off the crank shaft. at idle it doesn't turn fast enough to generate high pressure, but a little ways into your rpm band, (about 3/4's the way up)the oil pressure relief valve kicks in to keep it at that steady safe pressure.
if you ever want to raise your redline, it is a good idea to use a different better oil pump, or to shim that pressure relief valve (the spring that is) to all allow your engine to generate higher pressures. you do pay penalties for this though.

This was on the salt speed flats in the states i swear

not the fastest ive got it, i still have 3000 rpm to go . but first time i tryed with my camera. i also got 18's so im going about 20 faster then what the speedo says...

oh ya and MY oil pressure gauge is right on the money :banghead:

hmmm you're not at full boost that's strange?...you get alot of info for a stock gauge cluster though:thumbsup:

ya stock boost is only 6... and it gets lower when you hit high rpm! i guess so you dont blow your engine...

where are you guys doing this? pm a good location to test top speed
lastnight was doing 180 on john laurie blvd, didnt even get a chance to make to 5th gear( atleast i dont think i was in fifth) dropped it into 4th at about 130+

car dosnt shake, has awsome control even at 180 i was shocked, and brakes works so good .
