help no bass from sub

I just got the pioneer avh-p7500 and i dont know how to set it so the subwoffer works i have turned it on but still no bass in the car like my old deck which was a alpine.

any sugestion?

1) Make sure that your amplifier is connected to the amp with RCA cables.

2) Make sure the bass settings on your deck arn't turned to zero. Read the manual to see how you can alter these settings, and make sure that the sub volume (if there is one) isn't at mute.

3) Check the settings on the amp to make sure it's all correct.

- If any of this sounds too complicated, take it to a stereo shop and they can do it for you quickly and probably for next to nothing.

4) make sure the crossover on the amp is turned "on"

There are a few menus in that deck, that turn the sub off. If you want to stop by the shop, I can show you and hopefully get it working.
