Hey guys, my bro's 97 CRV (B20A) broke the timing belt (damn aftermarket belts) and has a couple bent valves, I was wondering what engines would fit in there with relative ease. No CRAZY tuning. Considering a VTEC head but sounds like too much extra work, maybe a turbo manifold or sumthin, nuthin crazy, just sumthin to suprise some ricers. IDEAS??? I realise that by asking this and wanting to have a quick CRV makes me a RICER LOL esp with the led washers that are already on it... :poosie:

Throw a B20 back in there, they are cheap and will fit without a problem. The other B-series engines will mount up but the B20 is best suited for the auto and for the weight of the vehicle.

Jackson Racing has (or had - I'm not sure if they still do) a blower for that thing. :)

^ AWD POWA!!! If i were to consider a turbo upgrade, say a T28 with 7-10 psi I would need Bseries turbo manifold (would a b16 or b18 work?), injectors, maf, boost controller. Is that it? anything else? I'm not very Honda savy, but I think thats it.

a b20 turbo'd would be nice, have that torque right from the start

edit: would also be cheaper than a b16 or b18 (least engine wise heh)
