I just happened to be enjoying a fine Jones cream soda when I decided to make this thread, and wanted to expand my cream sodaistic horizons, hence the existence of this thread. I'm tired, I'm hyper, woohoo, I'm off to bed :zzz:

Does Dad's make cream soda? Their Root Beer is awesome, but I think I recall drinking cream soda by them and that tasted awesome. not totally sure if it was dad's tho :dunno:

To avoid Cream Soda Tears (CST), when opening a bottle of Jones or any screw-cap cream soday, what you do is slowly crank it open until you hear that trademark "POP!" sound that a seal being broken makes (why do you think they called it soda-pop? or just pop? nice trivial knowledge bit there). Turn it a little more till you hear the hissing of gas escaping, and WATCH the bubbles in the bottle. When they zerg-rush the top, screw the cap back down a turn so only a tiny bit of gas is getting out. Wait for the party to die down in the bottle, then slowly unscrew the cap. That way you should get a nice foamy top bit without overflowing and if you sip or gulp fast enough, get some of that foamy goodness :thumbsup:

Anyone remember A&W gold cream soda, simply the best. No longer in Canada though as far as i know. Still have it south of the border.mmmm.
U guys ever remember when Canada dry came out with their own cream soda??
I think it was around for only one summer, it was like a limited edition or something. This was years ago. It was good, not sure why it never stuck around?

Jones, I love it because it's clear, and I always expect it to taste similar to water, but then, BAM! Flavour explosion. Their orange cream soda is damn good too.

Jones Cream Soda is the best, But Dads isnt bad either. Cream soda isnt exactly my first choice though.

jones makes some good shit they have some bubble gum soda thats pretty good as well, i normally get barqs cream soda cuz its easier to get and cheaper for how much you get :)

Ok I know alot of people are gonna give this look :confused: but does anyone else add milk to their cream soda? I do sometimes and love it, hahah let the flames begin.
Cream soda and Milk? Never done that, but Cream Soda and Just a thimble of Everclear or even Absinthe makes a very nice drink.
And yea, whats with the generic cream sodas just being nasty and pink?

its best with Schweppes :D
