Osiris D3 2001's (Good or Bad Quality)

I just got some new skate shoes yesterday (Osiris D3's 2001). I have 7 days to return them. I was just wondering if they are good quality,and if they last long? So far I like them,they are alright. I just want to know if they are good for skateboarding,and the quality of them. If any of you know anything bad about these,please tell me.

I think you are good as long as you take care of them (spray and clean, and use protectant spray if they are white). Those shoes tend to last. You just want to avoid some DC's, Vans and Emerica.

My friends that have worn them, they seem to last. I do think most of them look pretty gay though, few are nice.

My friend's shoes seemed to last. They are kind of poser shoes though.

I bought them the very first day they came out (I think that was 2 years ago?)
They're good shoes just for walking around in, but if you skate in them, they'll get thrashed after 1 sesh.
They won't hold up very well.

Not to say you are a poser. They last for fashion reasons for sure. Skating you probably want something a little more rigid.

But Osiris doesn't make the best quality shoes.

Yah,but you said they were good for walking but not skating. If I skate every day basically,then they wont last long...

Go ahead and ignore what I have to say. If your Emerica's fall apart dont complain to me

I wasn't ignoring it. I was just focusing on the majority of opinions said by fellow beyond members about the shoes. But I'm still deciding wether or not to keep them. And also mrmattyk,you said you basically suppose they would last,if I took "great" care of them.

I know that DC's and Vans suck old man ass,but why Emerica's? :dunno: I've heard only good things about them from my friends who have worn them. But of course after a few months they are going to get worn out.

emericas are decent shoes, who cares if some one went through a pair of shoes in 3 days...if you skate hard your shoes wont last a week...

circas are the only shoes that will fall a part by just walkin in them... but they are the most pimp.
