I would surely be dead right now if I wasn't doing 10 over on deerfoot a couple weeks back.


Deerfoot South @ 130th Ave. It's like 4 lanes accross there, I'm in the far right lane because I've gotta take the McKenzie Lake turn off.

Out of the corner of my eye I see headlights coming at me from the right FAST. Some guy in a Brand New 2500 Chev was doing warp 8 around the onramp off of 130th East bound onto Deerfoot South, and didn't make the corner, came flying off the elevated onramp (airborn) and nearly sideswiped me. All I saw was headlights go flying through my rearview mirror, as he drifted accross all 4 lanes, sliding between my car and the car following behind me.

Had I been doing 100 instead of 110, I guaranteed would not be here right now. This guy would have absolutly destroyed my car and me inside.

Truck was pretty much toast. Didn't roll it (no idea how he didn't) but the chassis was bent (bed was mighty crooked), broke the rim right off the hub, leaking every fluid there was to be leaked. Yeah, was feeling blessed that night let me tell ya, haha.
