2002 VOLKSWAGEN GTI - 52,000 kms, $19,900.

changer, Fully Loaded with all the usual options plus, Tinted Glass, Custom Low-profile Alloy Wheels, Grey Leather Interior, power sunroof, power locks, heated seats, GTI floor mats, Dealer serviced.

thought only the GLI's were 6spd, I am fairly sure but could be wrong.

the 2001 which is what I have is a 5 speed and roughly 180HP, If its a VR6 it should be ~200HP and 6 speed... they changed for 2002 and up. I think that VR6 has 5-valves per cyl or something like that... Don't quote me on the above cause i'm not 100% sure, but I think thats right.

yes in 2002 they did change the engine to 200 hp and a 6 speed man tranny for the VR6's.

Not neccesarily. Mine is what's called a 2002.5, and is a GLI. That was the 6-speed with 200hp. When I bought mine, all the 2002 GTI's still had the 174hp engine.

Either way, both are great.... and this is a great deal. Someone jump on this!

To add a bit of clarity... there was a mid-year change on engines so 2002's had two variations:

2002 12v VR6 = 174hp, 5speed
2002.5 24v VR6 = 201hp, 6 speed


and this is a really good deal!
