I'm about to buy an Acer laptop and it's one of the lower end ones so it doesn't have Acer CrystalBrite Technology.

Has anyone recently purchased an Acer and compared the difference with and without it? Is it worth the extra $70 for this feature?

Here's the one I'm getting:

Here's one with CrystalBrite:

I think your in the wrong section.... but i think its worth it in my opinion..... The crystalbrite for acer is like Ultrasharp for dell and xbrite for sony although the quality is different they mean the same thing

it makes your screen glossy so the text looks crisper and graphics look clearer...

Go to like compusmart and take a look at one with and without and you will understand what i mean.....

I am sure that the xbrite takes more power on my VAIO. if it isn't important to you to have a bright screen, there is nothing wrong with the regular one.
