I am EXTREMELY disappointed that J00F is 72 on the list... Matt Darey JUST barely snuck in before DJ Sammy , both of them deserve Top 20 ATLEAST, and J00F in the top 10 IMO...

Oh well. I am just happy Tiesto didn't make #1 again... Would have preferred AvB instead of PvD tho for #1... Then again my top 3 choices are completely different anyways.. :thumbsdow

Josh, dunno why your posting this, that list ain't nothing but a popularity contest, if it was based on skills ALOT of those DJs wouldn't even be in the top 100, and Tiesto might play music that alot of people like but he really does have NO DJing skills, he messes up so much its not even funny, I won't even get into this in detail as most people won't understand and probably wouldn't care.

Moby hardly spins AT ALL, plus when he does, he does a BAD job of it, hes a good producer though, and when Chemical Brothers perform, they peform there shit LIVE, they don't play records of there own music, they might include some turntablism or something during some shows, but not enough, there not actually DJs, there like Prodigy, make mad electronic type music and perform live, Prodigy did have a DJ in it though.

The only reason Tiesto was on top for so long because his Just Be cd was such a mainstream hit, that tones of people who wherent even into the genre knew who he was, so everyone talked about him, thus he became "most popular" (at least, thats my whole theory).

Im not gonna lie, Tiesto is how I got introduced to EDM, but i learned to expand my horizons, checked out other DJ's, and other forms of EDM, and realized there are a hell of a lot of other DJ's better than Tiesto... His sets are getting sloppy, he hasnt released a decend song in a while (all the remix's of UR are jsut as bad the the origonal)...his time for passing the crown to someone more worthy has been over due, so now someone else can get the #1 spot for a while.

If you like Tiesto, thats fine, but dont get all high and mighty with "Teisto is GOD" when you have never even checked out someone elses shit...

I thought you were a DJ, you can't be as if your ears were trained for DJing, you would hear the amount of mistakes Tiesto makes in all his sets, he does produce some good shit, but as for DJing, a corpse could do a better job.

Hey man, you can try TranceAddict.com, goto there forums part, and either check under Music Discussion for random info on new music, or check out there CD Reviews section, lots of good info on there if you just shift threw the bullshit, plus even though its a site mainly about Trance, they really do cover it all, good place for House, Breaks, Techno, and afew other genres.

Don't get me wrong, I like some of Tiestos sets due to some of the music he plays, just his skills that could do with some polishing.

Sven Vath and Digweed have alot of skill, top Djs, G&D, there good, but most the talant seems to just be coming from Gabriel, as for Dresden, well he WAS an active member over on Tranceaddict, but umm some of the users, umm scared him away..lol, Pete Tong, I think he just will never be up there as he doesn't really play out much, just some big events and then his Radio1 show, but hes probably one of the biggest impacts in the music scene, help really spread the word.

Ferry Corsten, FUCK YA, top guy, top DJ, sometimes he messes up (what DJ doesn't) but when hes on, hes ON, will always be one of the best in my books.
