Hey i am heading down to Las vegas to during the New year.....

I wanna watch some shows...(hahaha not shows at like strip clubs and stuff) is it better to buy tickets before actually going to las vegas(pre-buy) or is it better to just go and see what there is and then buy tickets???

Not exactly sure which, but some of the shows down there there is a trick to get better seats. If they have a "fanclub" where u pay like $20 or whatever it is do it... If you are in the club then you usually get better seats and other perks.

My parents did it for celine dion (barf) when they went and managed to get seats like 3rd row right in the middle for not a huge price difference.

Yes - there are two different half price ticket places, and they only sell for day of.

Remember, certain shows will not come on for half price.

apparently the coke bottle place is near the MGM (i have never been there so i am not 100% sure, just goin by what my uncle said)... we intend to do a lot of walking, maybe check out a coupel of the malls down there... basically just take it all in... maybe a show or 2... wont really know until we get there.

i have my hotel booked already, NYNY, they have an online special basically you get an upgraded room and some freebies for the same price as a basic room.

Besides the obvious I'd say fashion show mall and the outdoor Outlet Mall (Armani Exchange, Lacoste, Puma, Fcuk outlet stores)

I was just there for SEMA.

Best clubs are.

PURE, Tangarine & Rain. You can get VIP passes from the cabbies. Don't pay for them. If you want to reserve a table its a two bottle minimum $250/bottle. If you can't afford that don't expect to sit down, you can't! Tables are for reserve only! Drinks are $8each plus a $2 tip, so $10. If you do have to pay cover its $20-35 depending on the club. Smart thing to do is find 2 or 3 hot girls and walk up to the entrance with them. You won't have to wait in line then. Runners or anything that look like them won't get you in.

Best Gentlemens clubs is Spearmint Rhino, hands down! 200 beautiful women offering up lap dances constantly. Awesome!

Best place to eat is Max's Cafe in the Aladdin mall. Breakfast and Lunch menu was $3.99 for anything on the menu and 2 for 1 beers. Dinner menu was $6.99 and 2 for 1 beers. Atmosphere is similar to Earls or the Met.

If you want to hit a show I suggest Cirque Du Soleil and see 'O'

Oh, make sure you are hitting Vegas on a weekend. Clubs are not open during the week.

Best afterhours club is Dray, opens at 3am, alcohol is served. There is no such thing is last call in Vegas :D

'O' is $150.00 US

We saw Mystere when we were there, that was $95.00

'O' is better

We stayed at the Aladdin Hotel & Casino it was $1065 for 4 nights including flight.

I suggest staying at Caesars:thumbsup:

My little Vegas secret I will share with beyond....

As you may know getting a seat at a "Super Club" in Vegas is expensive. In certain clubs if you befriend a bouncer they have access to VIP bracelets. It runs anywhere from $40-$150 to get one but are worth it. Once those VIPs get on the main dance floor or leave early to another club if you have a small group you can grab a seat. In Rain you get to go upstairs in the elevator to where the private rooms are, enjoyed the nice 12 seater room along with the balcony it had over the dance floor.

There are allot of free afternoon shows, keep you eye out for them Flamingo Palce has a good one. anywhere is good really the whole city is full of stuff to do, reccomend renting a hot ride and take a cruise thtough the red rock canyon (don't kill yourself) you wouldn't think but they are reasonable to rent. bull shit everyone down their you may luck out and get some VIP treatment.

There are also hosts who you can pay, who will arrange to get you into any club that you wish.

They work really well - and are one of the few ways to guarentee entry into a big club on the weekend.

Its easy to get into any club in Vegas as long as you have a few hotties hanging off your shoulders. No line up ;)

Girls don't wait in line. Every club we went to there was nothing but guys in the line ups...LOL. But we found out quickly that if you have a couple hotties with you, waiting in line was quickly avoided.

So I'll be in vegas for 3 days on december 30, 31st and jan 1st.

Should be lots of fun. Going to see a Kanye west concert on the 31st.

But however since I'm not 21, I can't gamble and hit up the clubs. Can someone tell me what else I can do there.

I'll probably do some shopping. Any really nice places down there?

You can pay for the service of a host who can guarentee you an in at a club.

Beware New Years Eve will be pricey....

EDIT: If you didn't want to pay for a host, you can inquire about bottle service at the club. It will be pricey, and a lot of clubs forced a 2 bottle minimum (In addition for paying for the service). You're still not guarenteed an in like with a host, but it's the closest you'll get.
