Time to step up Z24_3.1

Well once again it seems that we have incident with this guy and him selling substandard equipment . I have pm'd him and gotten the same type of eat crap responses . I am here to ask him to stand up and do something about our problem . Here is the story . I bought this turbo from this kid http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=103796
And I was in Sasketchewan at the time I read this post . I got off work @ 7:30 pm on thur the 13th and could not get to Calgary untill 12:00 that night . So he says he'll meet me at the Superstore gas station parking lot @ 12:00. Im pumped to buy a performance turbo for my truck and I say yeah ok , I was driving in to town at that time anyway . So I drive in to the parking lot and all the lights are out ( should have turned around right there I know ) I pull up to the Green Plymouth Breeze he tells me that he will be in and he gets out , and so does a girl and another guy holding the turbo . I ask the guy to see the turbo and he hands it to me and immediately asks if I brought the money . I say no , I have to go to the bank to get it . Its pitch black and I cant see nothing , I ask where the box for this turbo that is listed as new and he says he threw it out because its bulky and that he bought it off the internet . So this other guy grabs back the turbo and says lets go to the bank I say sure . We go and I get the $900.00 and the girl doesnt trust me and sits in my truck to count the money . The guy is guarding this turbo and im not sure why , so while she's counting I reach over and grab the turbo and set it on the passenger seat of my truck . Still wondering why the guy who is selling the turbo is absent from the whole deal . After they leave with the money I get in and drive off , only to be followed by the car until a police cruiser pulls a u-turn in front of me and they take the next immediate turn . My heart was racing fast and my mind even faster . Then I look up the part # for this when I get home and this is for a 94-97 ford powerstroke and I specifically asked if this was for a 2001 and was assured it was . So I take it to BIG DOG DIESEL PERFORMANCE to have them look at it because this guy says to bad quit bugging me or I'll charge you with harrasment . The turbo Is first of all used and second of all has been put together with the wrong parts and to rebuild it enough for me to sell is $600.00 and a new one retails for $1000.00 so after I payed $900.00 plus im $110.00 for the shop to tear it down and asses the thing and a new one is $1000.00 . I am asking this guy what are you going to do about this situation I have his phone # and his friends plate # I have and If I go to the police im sure we will be able to track him down . I am trying to be calm and reasonable , and have waited this long for the shop to confirm my suspicions of this turbo .

I have a reputable business who is going to attest to this turbos condition and when I dropped it off and how long its been there . Please bring forth all of your proof of original purchase , or where you bought this said brand new turbo . I am giving you a chance to make things right and anyone who had sold something that was not what they say it is or thought it was would step right up and say sorry man I will take it back , not to fu%kin bad . Answer : It was just bad judgement on my part , I was getting in at that time and had to pass that way to go home so it seemed sensible to stop on the way as well as he was at the hockey game that night and met me after the Flames played that night .

i'd just go to the cops right now and file a report, you gave the guy a good enough chance, he's obviously not going to do anything about it, so go to the cops, i'm sure he deserves a criminal record judging by others experiences. Although his spelling seems like a crime in itself . You all seem more mad than I . I am just asking him to be a stand up guy and come through with a deal and be fair . I don't care if it was Mother Theresa's Turbo . He posted it and was there when I picked it up , and the bottom line is , In my opinion that if you sold something to someone and they contacted you and said that the product was wrong you would make things right . At least tell the guy you would give most of the money back and keep say $40.00 for say an inconvienence fee or whatever . I have paid for this and now have a bill at the Diesel shop for them to tear it down and find out it is used and rebuilt with wrong parts . So for me to get it repaired to the point where it is sellable to the next guy without ripping him off is another $ 550.00 . Thats a total of $1450.00 to sell it for between $500.00 and $700.00 . I am happy with the support and advice , but as life is unfair sometimes . I am in Saskatchewan until midnight thur and on Friday if I have not heard from him I will seek the police , I was just giving Kalil a chance to set things right and he has dodged every attempt I have made to make things right . So I came here to see if he would do the right thing . And he has tried to shift blame or responsibility away from himself . I asked nicely once first in the pm's and he threatened me saying if I continued to contact him he would charge me with harrasment ,and now openly in the forum and I got pretty much the response that I thought I would get . If not anything else I hope just one person learns something from my post and doesn't get burned by this guy or any like him .

I'm sure the buyer has enough information of you to go the next step (seek help from a third party ie police). If not we can and we will forward your information to the proper authorities if asked. 1. You created a thread takeing responsiblity for the product you sold. And you said you had a NEW turbo that worked , that wasnt the truth (Breach of contract)
2. You recieved the money and the buyer recieved the turbo , he fufilled 1 part of the contract , but you didnt fufull what was orginally said.
3. You are responsible to fufull that contract the way it was supose to be.

So basically he can take you to small claims court , and YOU will HAVE to go to it. The best thing to do is , give back the money and let it be. Its not worth getting in shit with the law.

And you claim that it was new , which I have proved it is not ,but you will not tell me where or who it was purchased from as some form of proof of your innocence . mabey hit up your ( COUSIN's ) parents for the money . Z24, man you must not see how this is gonna end up, maybe you are telling the truth and its not yours and you don't have the money, but in the eyes of the law, you will be the one held responsible, you can ignore it and forgot about this shit and this thread, but when he goes to the police and they come to you, they WON'T let it go, so either give him the money back (if you have it) or get it from your cousin or goto your parents and explain whats going on, but if he has filed a report, then its too late, and if you do get this shit put on a criminal record, you have no idea how bad that will fuck your life up, I do as I know a couple guys with theft on one and fraud on the other.

As I stated in an earlier post . I am in Sasketchewan till Thursday night and will be taking care of this Friday morining . I was just waiting for confirmation as to the condition of the unit after I dropped it off at a professional shop . If I could march down to the station right now I would . I came on here giving him a second chance to make things right and he will do no such thing . And he types that his cousin is going to kill me . What else could I do .
