Ive been looking at Element Design 6500 and leangin towards them because of price and the 3 yr warranty instead of a 1 yr which all the ones below only offere but I was wonderign if they really comapre to items below which ive been looking at too...

PG TI6 ELite($350), Oz Audio matrix eltie($350), PG Xenon 6.5" ($102 hell of a price), Diamond s600s($300), CDT HD 6.5" ($380), Image DYnamics chameleon 6"($300).

I just need your guys opions on this stuff because I have no good car audio shops aroudn me to be able to hear this stuff, so I have to order it off line and just wanna make sure I get some good stuff and dont get ripped off.

I think your best would be CDTs or the ED 6500s.

I just ordered the 6500's, I have been reading a lot, and apparantly the 6500's are made by cdt to ed's specs...? But either way the reviews are very good and theres free shipping up here...

I had the Diamond HEX 6.5's and they were OK, but not worth the money IMO. $1,100 CD is to much for them. I was happier with the Bostons Pro's i had for the money. The Diamond's were cleaner but not enough to justify the double price tag.

CDT does make eD's components, at least, they used to. I am not sure if that is still the case. The eDs are a higher model line CDT resold at a lower price, though, if I get some time I'll search some old icixsound posts from when they were first announced and see if I can't come up with the equivalent CDT model ... it might have been the ones right below the Eurosports. I am not sure, don't quote me on that, but they are supposedly a damn fine speaker, and they just cut the price to $250usd with the 3 year warranty.
