Currently I am found the following but am looking for more options for Black w/ Polished lip.

http://www.winning-jp.com/dat/komono/bre.jpg
Breyton Spirit Black's

http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheels/asa/swap/asa_ar1_blk_ci3_l.jpg
ASA AR1

Specs:
5x120 (BMW)
Around +20mm offset
Prefer more dish in rear then in fronts.
17" 18" or 19"

The only other option I have found would be this...

http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/specials/bmw-7-18-e32.shtml

They make them for my car in 18's with staggered setup for rear. Fairly good prices. They took style #505 of BMW's and just refinished it differently I believe.

That leads to my next question, does someone have some pictures of a machined lip vs. a chromed lip?

Thanks for everyones help!

So my guess is other then a little bit more reflective, no different between the 2 lips?

if its machined then there will be tiny machining grooves in it, and if its not coated with a protectant then it will oxidize to a dull finish, where-as chrome stays super shiny.

Here is a chop with the same style rims, I don't knwo which set he ended up using but yah, here it is!

Rims a little on the large side but I don't care. I'm excited for spring now! I think I might buy them earlier so I can polish them 100 times before they actually get on the car :D

Ok so I have decided to go witht eh Lakeshore Wheel and Tire setup.

#505
Black w/ Chromed Lip
+20mm offset (made for the E32)
Staggard setup.

But am stillundecided as to what size I should go with.

I have the option of 18x8" F and 18x9" R
or
19x8.5" F 19x9.5" R

I'm goign to try and setup a poll at the beginning again but if it doesnt work let me know what you guys think I should get and why.

I'm leaning towards the 19's as its a big car and ive seen 20s just a little too much and 18s just dont fill the wheel gap enough.

Can't get the polls to work but if a mod reads this could you pleasse make a poll, Options:

18x8" F 18x9" R
or
19x8.5" F 19x9.5" R

7 series should have 19's. That would be sweet...

the rims that were chopped on your car look really nice. i'd consider getting those for sure, then dumping the car to that height

haha nah it won't be that low :P

The ones on the car are nice, but I want a lip which those don't have.

I'm going to get that picture rechopped with these rims and more of a moderate lowering then an extreme lowering.

Too pricey for high school student budget ;)

Not to mention fitting a 13inch rim under rear of the 7 series I don't think works without rolling fenders abit.

That thing looks sick tho *drool*

i think they will look good.. they are different, the mesh wheels are soo played out in my mind, and the big 5 spokes are super hott, but ive already done that sooo..

Well put rubber on them and I will come check them out with them on the car if u want and if i like it then maybe we will work seomething out.

I got abit of time, not getting the rims I want for awhile as I am back to being jobless as I can't do construction with a f**ed back anymore :(

im not throwing rubber on until spring.. so that should give us both plenty of time to decide the direction of our whips haha

nice car by the way, looks classy, plus i bet the back seat is alot bigger than my audi.. its a pain in the ass

you consider getting a set of M5 wheels off ebay(real or fake) and then having them powder coated?

AllGoNoShow

Not going to buy used unless I really have to. Buying used wheels, then paying for shipping, then paying for refinishing to get it the way I want it is going to cost aroudn the same of me just getting the rims already done right and they come wiht a warrenty
