The same 15 year rule would apply. Country of origin doesn't matter. If its not from the states, then it must be 15 years old.

Not if you live there and wanna buy new:D

I think it would be kinda hard to find an old car from the UK thats in good condition, it rains all the time there, but if you do find one it will be cheap, second hand cars there are good prices, just buying new is ALOT higher than here.

I found all sorts of killer cars there that don't cost that much.

gotta wait a couple of years man, but there is a chance that you could get an MKII with a vr6 swap...

i thought it was 15years and older? MKIII started in 93 over here. but hey a nice MKII GTI 16v would be sweet to.

^^ 15 years still applies.....(see: various cars from Japan coming here are LHD, but still need to be 15 years old!)

Why do you want to import an RHD car? Volkswagens are a bit cheaper in the country they were made in, ie Germany...

check http://www.mobile.de its a used car search in Germany, if you need help importing it, i can help you free of charge (i'm not in the car game to make money)

I would look for a 1974-75 "swallowtail" Golf/GTI.
