if im currently running 256MB PC2700 what happens if i mix in the PC3200? would it just run on the lower speed or would it even be compatible?

nothing. one runs at 2700 and the other runs 3200 you cant even run dual

^ lol, anyways, if you combine a PC2700 with a PC3200, both of the RAMs will run at the slower speed one, in this case, both will run at PC2700. As for PC133, I have no idea.
