I have a Dell D600 Notebook Computer
And i have an ATI 9000 graphics driver installed

i am wondering if there is any way that i could increase the resolution any higher than 1024x768 (under display properties-->settings, this resolution is the maximum increment) what would i have to do in order to increase my resolution? I know the obvious solution would be to go out and buy another videocard, but im seeing if there is another possible solution. Can anybody direct me a specific route?

thank you,

t

As seen here (http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_Latitude_D600/4507-3121_7-20906166.html?tag=sub), the maximum resolution your laptop's monitor can display is at 1024x768. You can't go any further than that.

You can, however, buy a monitor that supports a higher resolution and attach it to your laptop.

Xaro is correct.
The maximum resolution supported by the LCD panel is 1024x768...
Other than attaching a secondary monitor there isnt anything you can do man...

thank you guys for the information, i just thought there might have been a way to 'tweak' my resolution.

The only known method involves duct tape and another LCD monitor :)
