My special order Shuttle SB83G5 Barebones System just came in a few days ago but I realised now that this isn't the type of platform that I want to build my new system off. I have with it a Pentium 506 2.66 GHz (EM64T) Processor.

Here are the links to both items at memory express' website:

SB83G5: http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=5003&SID=

Official: http://global.shuttle.com/Product/Barebone/SB83G5.asp

P4 506: http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=6247&SID=

The components were purchased a few days ago so I have the receipt. The reason that I can not return them is because the system was special ordered, and the P4 Box was opened by me.

I am putting the system w/ processor up for $550, which is exactly $16 less that what I payed 3 days ago at memory express.

I want to go with another tower system, but if there is no interest I will go ahead and put this system together and keep it. I am quite impressed with shuttle's SFF system, but I realise now that I need the room in the tower for more HDDs.

Anyways, this offer should be valid for a few weeks while I get a few other components together. I will post pictures if need be, but there are an abundant supply on the internet.

On a sidenote, I was glad to see that our e-mails to Global had quite an impact. I would hate to be associated to a "street racing" forum... Not only a few hours ago I was getting a lecture from my rents about the forum... They know I use it, and they watch global, so I would have got pretty owned if it wasn't for the story edit. to all beyonders who took action on this one.

Right now the two items can be sold seperately if there is interest. But I will be putting the processor into the system sometime next week if there is no interest.

I hate being such an impulsive buyer!

System goes together this weekend. Even if it's after a month of use I'd like to get rid of it. I will bring the price down appropriately after each month of use. I really want to build a tower system, but someone out there must want a SFF system. Pics up shortly.
