scares the bejeeses out of me... just seems like how they throw people in these "jails" is so random... and no one would know where you are, or why you are there,,,,

yes it is scary, but should it really suprise you after the US in an effort to skirt International law and the geneva convention created an entire new class of prisoner they say is exempt from international protection the "illegal noncombatant" . They can literally take any person without disclosing a reason and without affording them legal help and plop their ass in Guantanamo bay for as long as they please.

and yeah the scariest part is the total lack of acountability.......shit they might even read some posts in here and beyond members might start to disappear............:eek:

what really scares me is that now anything can fall under homeland security, the US gov can do anything they want and just say we are trying to help, like throw your ass in prison and not tell anyone.
