That's a logical question. Many people would prefer to purchase a phone they can see prior to purchase. The ease of mind is worth paying near the same price as a new phone ordered online. Also, some people do not have access to a credit card, and local purchases allow them to buy a phone without a credit card. Finally, some are apprehensive about giving their credit or bank information to other parties.

For those reasons, purchasing a used phone is a good alternative for many people.
