So if you are now selling it and using it to buy winter tires, you shouldn't advertise it as "100% Goes to United Way".

No, the money has not gone to the United way yet......like i said before 100% of this is going to the United Way. This is one of 2 items from a silent auction that I won from my work for the United Way. After winning the auction i realized that i can't really afford both items and decided to put this item up for sale. Like i said 100% of this is going to the United Way. I haven't gave them the money yet, so are you interested in this item and making a donation to the united way at the same time?

How can you win the item, and then not pay for it? Say that no one here buys it, you are just going to stiff the United Way and not pay them? You stated yourself that you WON the auction, therefore you are on the hook for the money, in which case whoever buys this is not making a charitable donation, they are buying the item from you.

And to answer your query: no...I have already made my charitable donations for the year.

MAN! you really have a problem don't you? First of all the company auction is private and I can win the item and not pay for it yet cuz I work there.
There is no contract to this cuz they trust me, probably something that your not accustom too.

Secondly, of course if no one buys it i would keep it. It just a item that i really don't need but i got it for a good cause.

Thirdly, I’m a man of my word, if i say its for charity, its for charity. I have no need to lie to try to make a buck, if it wasn't for charity I would just sell it straight up.
I'd thought I’d would post this item for car enthusiasts like me who likes this kind of stuff, and would know that the money is going to a good cause and are not on here to start shit and piss people off. Of course I’m going to make my donation if no one buys, cuz I have other items that I am keeping that I need. How is it that whoever buys this item is not making a donation if I take that $70 and include it with the cost of my other items and give it to the United Way?

Fourth, I don't have to prove to you shit, if you’re not interested.... quit infesting the thread and start your own "I’m the FS police" thread.

Last but not least, the only person that I would stiff is YOU! for being having nothing else to do at 2am on a Friday night but post stupid shit.

How would it not benefit the charity, he has already bought it therefor giving cash to the charity. It is out of his hands now, he needs cash so he is getting rid of it, but the money still ended up at United Way.

If I had cash I'd buy it, bump for nice piece

Yes pretty much, im glad someone understands. I haven't given the money to them yet but once i get the money for the clock its going right to the United Way and ZERO profit for me. I don't think it can be anymore clear. And i agree it is a nice piece. Thanks
