How did your insurance company recover all your aftermarket parts stolen from your car?

Did they cut u a cheque for all the parts that were stolen?

Did they find replacement parts?

They only replace OEM parts back?

What did your insurance company do about your claims?

They are supposed to restore your car to the condition it was previous to the theft. So if you had aftermarket stuff then they would try to look for these same items. You of course would have to show proof with reciepts or pics. My claims have been handled well. I recommend Meloche Monnex for sure.

My claim when my system got stolen they MADE sure i got the same quality or better ( had to pay to upgrade ) stuff that got jacked and put me in a rental for 2 weeks while my window got fixed

I always thought, if you had insured your car, with your aftermarket parts installed, and they knew about those parts, then they would cover the recovery of those parts.

But if you didnt tell them about the aftermarket parts and as far as they knew the car was stock, then you are out of luck. Unless you could somehow claim that the parts were just "sitting in the trunk of your car" or something?
