I've bought a Ipaq pocket PC from this Lady a while back, she is Pretty Legit, there is nothing wrong with someone trying to look out for thier privacy

Bump for a Legit Seller, I remeber seeing the car too, looked to be in good condition:thumbsup:

Too much...I am not shady, but I am maybe a little to cautious, I've never sold a car before, so I wanted to make sure it was o.k to give out the vin. Anyhows if you were so interested in buying the car, wouldn't you want to take it for a spin or at least see it first? Anyhows if your interested still I'll pm you the vin, makes no difference to me.

Providing the VIN # to prospective buyers enables them to verify some important information prior to purchase. A simple carfax report can be beneficial to some buyers. A registry check can also provide necessary information to buyers. Used together, these tools determine the legitimacy of a vehicle prior to inspection or purchase.

I've had sellers refuse to give me their VIN #s, and it always leads me to second guess the legitimacy of the vehicle. Is it stolen? Is it a write off? Is the seller claiming a year or trim level that is inaccurate? Those are the thoughts that buyers perceive when a seller refuses to provide a VIN #.

Providing the VIN # is ultimately up to your discretion. If you choose to do so, it may aid a prospective buyer in conducting the necessary research prior to a test drive/offer.
