I'm looking for some help with building a computer. I know there have been a ton of threads with people asking for help, but the last time i built my own computer it didnt turn out soo well, so I would really appriciate some help. I have a general idea from a spec sheet I created by on Memory Express' website, but I'm pretty sure someone could give me a better set up. I am also hoping to keep it somewhat in the $1000 range if possible (or somewhat close to it).

What I need is a desktop that I will use mainly as a Media Center. Basicly besides using Microsoft Office and regular Internet surfing, it will be almost always used for Itunes, whether just playing music, music videos, burning cds or dvds. I dont really play games or do anything like that so I dont need a hardcore gaming machine. I will be doing a lot of downloading of music and music videos. Because of this, I will need a large HD as my Itunes folder is huge already and im currently making do with just a shitty laptop. I also want the ability to be able to copy dvds so I will be needing some sort of dvd/cd-rw combo drive and then just a second dvd-rw drive (unless a better setup is availible).

If someone could make me a spec sheet from Memory Express or even make some suggestions I'd really appriciate it.

I just had a computer made from MEMEX with very similar specs to this one. The computer is amazingly fast for whats its got in it and for the price its great.
Youll only need one dvdrw drive to copy dvds because most programs just create an image file on your hardrive then you insert a blank disc in and it will burn the image file to the disc.
Ive added 2 250gb hardrives which will give you 500gb of space which will be plenty for now. For the things you need this computer will do it all just fine plus the little extra if you ever decide to play games or run some imaging software or do a bit of video editing
