Hoping someone could help with: Can a remote start system be installed on a 2005 model year, and if so help needed in aquiring system.

Sorry, it is an Automatic w keyless entry.

Im sure compustar/arctic start will have something to offer. I believe they do have ignition immobilizers so you'll need to order a bypass as well.

Easy!!!! stay away from canadian tire. Get an installer to work on your new car. you will be glad that you did.

I have the 2005 automatic matrix XR and have the compustar starter installed on it. Not a single problem

my suggestion is to go through Visions or Future Shop because you dont pay much for installation and its covered... but becarefull that the radio signal dosent interfere with the keyless entry remote....

Its very minor work to have both your door locks and starter on the same remote id take that route...
