The last couple nights the cops have had a new radar trap set up. and i got my first ticket in the MR2:madred: Heading north on Mcleod, right after the little curve in the road, before the Elbow river Casino, right when it turns form a 60 to 50 zone, :banghead: Late monday night (1:00am) I was going with the flow of traffic, which happened to be going 70-75, and i came around the bend, and some guy runs out on the road in this bright orange jacket a couple blocks ahead, i was like WTF is that??, then i see him waving me over, and realized it was a cop, F**K!! :madred:. luckily i wasnt going my normal rate of 100 through that bend.:D I was clocked at 72 in a 50:bullshit:

Then last night, i might have got one of those red light tickets:dunno: , thats on Mcleoad at about 12th avenue? I was turning right , i almost came to a complete stop, when it was turning yellow, then right before i turned, i saw the flash. I know my brake lights and signal were on, so i should be safe from the ticket right??

they like putting the radar there, i used to work weekends at china and i take that route most of the time, and last year it used to be there almost everyweekend. so now everytime i hit that curve i actually slows down to 50 til i pass 17ave then i go back up to 60-70 nish

but yeh watch out for that radar, everytime i drove by they always got someone pulled over :madred:

Damn.

Yesterday as I got home from work, my mailbox greeted me with my third photoradar ticket of the year...

I swear by the end of the year I will have single handedly paid for at least one Calgary Police Officer's yearly salary. :D

16th avenue West, just past deerfoot, at the top of the hill, is money for cops.

52nd street NE North at 5 ave SE and Rundlehorn Drive, there is always one or two waiting. Photo radar is popular on 52nd South and 4ave NE.

Not to mention 16th ave west just before Deerfoot (going downhill). Also, 16th ave east as you're approaching Deerfoot (going downhill again).

Center street north, the intersection before where Aberdene restaurant used to be (when you leave Chinatown).

33 Ave SW heading west just as you get off of Crowchild.
