what kind of race does this car compete in? or is it a roadgoing car painted to look like a racecar?

i'm not sure, i'm pretty sure it used to be some racecar but not anymore. don't know that much about it yet :-/

Hey phiberglass, I actually have a couple of really good friends who live in Irvine (one who lived here in Calgary too) and goto CC every week. They post over 500 pictures on a Ferrari messageboard, and I drool over them every week..

One day I'm gonna make it down there for the show. We should meet up.

A bit of a delayed post :|

It's a kit car, there are only 5 real grand sports in existance and their worth crazy amounts like 10 million+ each. It's a roadgoing replica of a racecar.

Those are my pics linked here, We saw those two cars at CC and have never heard of a grand sport before. I think I got them on video aswell. My dad talked to the owners for quite a while, got some names/information about the project from them. He originally was thinking about building a cobra replica but once he saw these cars he knew that is what he wants to build.

CC was pretty rockin' being from craptoon, saskatchewan :) Saw a red zonda, black/red enzos, orange saleen s7 and a grey db9 volante amount others that weekend aswell that wern't at CC.

I originally found out about CC when I was reading about ben keaton who died in the CGT crash last summer. A bunch of porsche guys at 6speedonline were planning on going there as a memorial type thing. So when I happened to be in the OC that weekend I decided to check it out, it blew me away for being just a weekly get together.
