I'm torn between the two........

What do you guys think?

i'm on a limited budget i'm gonna sell my 2000 Accord V6 so i'm hoping to get around 15,000 for it so i will have to pay the difference.

So either one will be used.

Give me your thoughts

i think you can get wayy more then 15 gs for a 2000 accord v6..
but i had a 2001 prelude se and didnt like it very much. i would rather pick a wrx. but hey go test drive both of them and see how they handle.. only way to find out

He means $15K USD..... Those cars are in 2 totally different classes so I'd say it's up to personal preference, obviously after taking them both for good drives:thumbsup:

Preludes are definitely much more nicer.......but WRX is the better car......no argument needed :D and it will own the Prelude stock for stock hehe but pimp factor goes to the Lude! haha

even thought I'm a die hard honda freak, I have driven the WRX and its an awsome car...I've heard the brakes leave a little to be desired, but from my first imression, its a dominant vehicle.

I'll Tell you man... if your 6.1" tall your gonna have a prob sitting in that Prelude comfortably... I had a 2001 Prelude SE and I had to switch to a 2002 Honda Accord because I fucking hated sitting in that Prelude... Sure its Eye Candy too look at, and girl were coming up to me and telling me what a nice car I had... But it wasnt worth it... In the end I lost so much money having to sell it.... ; ( If I were you... FUCK THAT IMPREZA IDEA TOO... Lower your 2000 Accord with H&R springs and buy Koni Yellows shocks... It will cost you undead $2000 installed... Then get some 18" wheels... Your car will look better then that Prelude you want, you'll have a great ride, and you wont lose money...

RICH
I'm just tellin you how it is... DO NOT SELL YOUR ACCORD and change to a Prelude... I know 2 other ppl that changed from a Prelude to an Accord... And theres even on that write the exact same thing on this board....

I love my Prelude, wouldn't sell it for anything.

WRX, are very nice too!

Tough choice, for straight out of the box performance the WRX, is the on to have, but for overall looks and style, I suggest a Prelude.

P.S. I'm 6'3 and half and I find my Lude a little tight for head room, but I am comfortable in my car.

I had to choose between WRX and Prelude, and I chose Prelude.
And I don't regret it one bit.

Because in theory, you can kill a WRX:D :burnout:

if u buy a lude in the states, u have higher chance of it getting stolen. wrx have lower theift rates. i rather get a wrx.

very true...but to judge a car on it's interior (of all things) doesn't really help the guy out

Both cars have potientials, but basically if you just want a factory go fast "Pssssssh" ride, you will want a WRX, but if you want to be a pimp right off the lot, then you will want a prelude.

Addition: Not to say WRX ain't pimpin, 'cause I seen some Pretty big WRX pimp .... cough.. *spyguy*.. cough .....

and to me, the interior is pretty important...cuz u spend more time in the car than just standing around next to it

very good point...i guess it depends on what your priorities are...i could care less on what the interior looks like as long as there's a cupholder and 4 seats ;) But personally i'll go for the GOOOOOO! haha...but for sure that the prelude has a better looking interior...

the wrx may not have the best interior but its by far a better car stock to stock. awd with turbo..... its more of a drivers car i guess. don't get me worng the lude is very nice too.... i almost bought one a few years ago. it depends what you want. best bet is to take both cars for a test drive and go from there...

Mark me down for a kill.

Last year at the strip, I had about two car lengths, by the end of the quarter.
