Hey did anyone else see this? They had the Ferrari F1 car parked inside the Hyatt yesterday and today. I think it was for some kind of promotion for Shell or something. I managed to take some pictures today at work. I wish I took some more and better ones but they were about to haul it out right when I got there. Heh and the guard wouldn't let me sit in it.

Haha yeah I wanted to sit in it, that would have been so freaking sweet!
I'm not sure what year it is. It is probably the same as the one that was at the shell building.

it's most likey a static shell for shows

for one show they asked me steer a Rothmans 962

it was a rusty beetle floorpan and suspension with adapters for the wheels. one brake worked. one real 962 part was the winshield. which broke when a wind gust snapped the lawn chair web door restraint and flipped the door onto the glass. it was $ 3300 for a new one.

then at the car show you overhear guys trying to impress their freinds by telling them that is the actual Lemans winning car.
