i been checking out some ads for early 80's celicas/supras....and i been noticing some say Saftety Inspected and i was wondering....is there some sort of law in AB where cars have to be inspected every so often or something or cars before a certain year have to have a safety cerificate?????/
i just dont wanna end up buying something and run into trouble when i register it.......

so i did some searching and apparently most insurance companies require a safety inspeciton ticket before selling u coverage???....i used allstate on my 94 integra and they didnt ask jack....hmmm......
so when i call up these people to see their 85-87 supras/celicas...the frist question i should ask is whether they have safety inspection tickets with it???????

It depends on your insurance company. Some ask that it be done while others don't.
