Cant decide on camera

i cant decide which one to get, i dont know a lot about photograghy but i would like to get into it. im looking for a digital for around 500-650. i was looking at the canon s2, it seems like a pretty decent one, but it would be nice to have one where i could change lens's and have manual controls. anyone have/used the S2? which camera would u suggest, i kinda want to stick with a canon or nikon. thanx

iv been through dpreview and it had tons of useful info but theres alot of camera's, any suggestions of certain ones i should check out. i was also wondering if any one had any personal experience with the s2?:thumbsup:

get the canon digital elph SD550 or somehting if you want somehting small...its about 7.1 MP
