Well, actually it is just the deck and not the faceplate. The faceplate can be purchased thru any retailer. Would anyone be interested? $50.

No seriously. My car was busted into the weekend and the f*ckers were spooked or were incompetent and only stole the faceplate.

Thanks man. I bought it at A&B Sound and have the receipt . I bought it in 2001.

Same thing happened to me in my car.

Except the theives that broke open mine weren't smart enough to bring a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the deck.

So now I have a deck with no faceplate. Fucking lovely.

I found out that I can buy a new faceplate from Sony thru A&B Sound. Cool. It is $178. Now I am undecided whether I should buy the faceplate, which hopefully will work, or getting a new deck. Hmmmmm....

Trevor, if your deck is new enough, see if your retailer can get you a new faceplate too....

Mine's a bit too old.

The shitty part was, I bought the car written off at an auction without a faceplate and spent 4 months searching until I finally found one on a car audio forum.

I don't want to spend another 4 months looking for another, so I think I might just break down and buy a used deck off of somebody.

Or maybe the guilt will kick in and my girlfriend (Who left the door unlocked) will buy me another...
