View Full Version : NW Calgary C-Train Park'N'Ride's

Approximately what time do each park'n'ride stations in the NW get full?
I remember when I was going to SAIT, Dalhousie would fill up around 7:45, Brentwood around 8:30 and MacMahon around 9:15...

Does anyone know what a "safe" time to show up and find a spot at each of the NW lots is?

Brentwood is full around 8-8:15... I dunno about the others

Hmmmm maybe McMahon is a better bet...
I dont think I will get to Dalhousie before it fills up but it is the closest... I hate Brentwood Station... Despite the walk, McMahon might be the best...

to my knowledge, mcmahon is NEVER full. I also park there and go to sait. Sometimes I get there at 7:15 am, sometimes at 9:15 am, and occasionally at 11:30 am. The lot has never been full, it's huge... on the other hand, those other lots you mentioned are full a lot of the time by 8:15 am.

McMahon is also where most thugs go to steal from random cars because there's no bus traffic (brentwood) or residence/mall traffic (Dalhousie).

I've a few people got their car clean out/stolen @ McMahon.

Thats why when I used to take the train I'd park right along the chainlink fence by crowchild. It had better odds of my car still being there.

Actually Brentwood is bad for vandalism/theft too. I had my car broken into a couple years back, and I know of several people who have had the same experience. Another guy I knew had his car jacked. So parking at Brentwood is risky too.

But I'd still rather park there than spend $10/day downtown. :nut:
