ever been to the dyno or track? numbers?

Forcefed
11-28-2005, 08:26 PM
Yes, car has been dyno'd and tuned by speed tech. The numbers were around 250 WHP and 210 Foot Pound of Torque. With those numbers, tires and a good driver expect 13's.

Richard can varify the EXACT numbers asap.

^I can verify for those numbers....base map made from scratch

Is the superchager set up on the stock internal?

Forcefed
11-29-2005, 02:47 AM
Yes it is, stock internals the boost is only at 7 lbs. I assure you this car had been tuned right, and in 9 out of 10 cases when tuning is bad thats how things go BANG!

Price Change For X-mas:

18,000 Firm

I will also trade straight accross for 2000+ GTI 1.8 Turbo or TDI VW. I will also throw in some cash if I find the right car, anyways im looking for something with lower km's and a 5 spd 4 door or 2. Color is not a big deal but the more options the better :)

Car made it to the dyno once - dyno'd at the wrong fuel pressure though and with belt slip. Fuel pressure and belt slip was fixed before Brad from Speedtech street tuned it the second time. Didn't hit the dyno again, but trust me the car is decently quick.

Anyway, bump for a great price. Not included in above modlist are the RC550 injectors, AEM High flow fuel rail, chipped P28 ECU running uberdata, Frog Engine Controls OBD2A-OBD1 harness. That's over $1000 alone. Custom fibreglass stereo is worth over $1500.

I'll throw in a set of H&R Race Springs for the buyer. :)

so, it has stock Se/SH wheels that are painted gun metal on it now, and the spoiler that it has now is the mugen one (the small one as seen in the 2nd last pic), other than that all the other stuff on the body looks the same, correct?

Since you haven't replied my pm, i will just post q's here.

What kind of clutch is in there?
How many belts do you go through?
Any belt slipping problems?
How long has the car been supercharged?
Any warranty from JRSC?

rc2002

1.) Clutch is still OEM. It's comfortable and I found it handled the power well.

2.) Belts aren't an issue - they cost under $20 each and will last you for months. I got between 5000 and 10000km on each belt. Besides, a monkey could change one out in under 5 minutes.

3.) No belt slipping problems as stated above. Goodyear gatorback belts eliminated slipping problems.

4.) I'm not sure exactly how long it's been supercharged - around 60km? The Jackson Racing Prelude passed the 160000km mark of being boosted a couple years back and is still running strong. Thing is - these eaton blowers come as OEM equipment on a lot of cars. They are self contained and require no maintenance. The question you should be asking is how well the car is tuned. An improperly tuned car can blow up hours after being installed. A car that's been running well for a few years means that something is done right.

5.) Hahahaha. That's one of the funniest things I've ever read!

I don't know of any manufacturers of turbo or supercharger kits that offer a warranty. It's too much liability. Modding in general is legally only for off-road use. If you're willing to start modding, you're willing to take the consequences that come with it.

That's not to say that Jackson Racing will turn a cold shoulder on you - The tech guys (especially Keith) at Jackson Racing are VERY helpful.

Anyway, hope that answers some questions.

PS: Man, that's a sexy looking car. :D

My JRSC on rsx had the warranty and i know some of SCed rsx guys got the parts for free under the warranty

Which parts are you referring to?

I think all the Eaton blowers themselves have a 2 year - 100000mile warranty. I'm not sure what else there is that can break. There are the belts, but those are wear items and I don't see how they would be covered under warranty.
