colour is brutal, body kit isn't the greatest. but that is one FAST wrx. im sure it is good for close to 400 hp depending on what turbo he swapped in. and dont mind heavyD he does a lot of suby bashing.

that setup will put down 280whp max. if you tune it right to the edge you may get another 20 out of it. your buddy is seriously kidding himself if he thinks it puts down anywhere near 400........

The consensus is that the car is ugly and that's all I said. I think WRX's are very capable cars. I only bash Subaru for continuing their legacy of making ugly cars. The new corporate front end is possibly the worst decision yet. The design team sould all lose their jobs and be banished from the automobile industry for good.

Ha Ha. I've never really liked SRT-4's but I needed a 4-door and wanted to retain something sporty for the money. It has actually grown on me as it's kind of raw & doesn't pretend to be anything other than a really fast neon.

Your right about one thing, your Neon is ugly as sin, but faster? Questionable. Subaru destroyes you in the look, practicality, quality, and reliabilty department. And on the plus side, people don't laugh at Subaru owners.

I never said that my SRT-4 was unbelievebly fast, just faster than a non-STi WRX which it is. In fact it isn't even close between the two stock to stock.

I only have to reason that for $27K I got a car that came stock with LSD, Tokico Illuminas, BBS wheels w/225/45-16 KDW2's, sunroof, 6-disc changer with Kicker speakers & sub, super supportive seats, FMIC, 230 HP turbocharged engine that is easily upgradeable through facory Mopar parts. Hell of a deal if you ask me.

BTW: I do agree that alot of SRT-4 owners do have their heads up their ass. The shit I've read on srtforums.com makes me just shake my head.

Well it sounds like you are not really one of those tools, and I do agree that there aren't alot of cars that will give you the performance to money ratio that an STR-4 can, but for the most part the owners tarnish the image of the car.

the ricer world cuts up the neon all the times, the enthusiat world cuts up the honda all the time, the Racer world, cuts up the Suabru all the time.. The super car world cuts everyone up all the time, the Race car world cuts up the super cars all the time, so really there is no one that is at the top unless you own a F1 car, or a fully preped GT, Rally, Drag car..

Yep. I knew when I got my Neon that people would have fun with it but it doesn't really bother me. If you are going to dish it out as I do sometimes you are going to have to take it and be a good sport. It would be pretty boring if everyone liked the same cars and what really counts is that you are happy with what you have. There are people that really love their Cavalier or Focus and there is nothing wrong with that.
