Whirring sound near left wheel well seems to get louder around 50 k then dissapear on the highway? any ideas? I was thinking wheel bearing?

I had a similar problem, it was wheel bearing for me. But it didnt really disappear at higher speeds, just became too fast and hard to hear.

either wheel bearing or possibly tire noise, does noise change with road surface or when loaded up on that side?
