Gimme a couple years and I'll take you up on this :D :burnout: (on the track of course..). CDI is definately on the purchase list for cars to buy later on, so happy they brought the diesels back.

TDI vs CDI would be interesting...let us know if it happens.

They are pretty quick, i've been in many of them. The 270 and 320CDIs are the most predominant taxi in Europe and they go well! I'd dare to say its faster than your car :(

I borrowed a friends for a week or so in Europe, and they have pretty impressive torque. The car still seemed really slow to me though off the line, but in terms of passing power it was quite good.
