I am starting a new section in mechanics class where I can make something out of fiberglass. I was wondering if any one on this board would like to have something made for their car such as a gauge pod, insert for a tv screen etc.

There are a few conditions though:
1. Who ever I chose will have to either
a) supplie materials
b) pay the cost of materials
Materials are cheep though, they consist of a 10$ fiberglass kit, some 3$ spot putty or bondo and 7ish$ for random other things. Also if shipping is required (I live in medicine hat) you would have to pay that as well
2. I would like to have a sort of form or bezel premade so i just add the fiberglass moulding. For mine i used the bezel from around the center vents. Making your own form allows for the best fit in your car. If you cant do this i could see if i could find a similar car and make one.
3. As much information as you can suppli to how you want it to look. Pictures, drawings etc.
4. Please understand this will not turn out to look 100% perfect and their will probably be a few minior flaws but there is no cost for labor seeing as i am using this to get credits in school. I think its fair to say i am pretty good at it though
5. This will take some time to make seeing as I have about an hour a day to work on it (during the week) so chances are it wont be ready until after christmas.

When I am finished it I will ship it back to the person in primer so you can chose to paint it or finish it how ever you want. I will also send back all of the supplies i didnt use so if there is anything you want to fix, you can.

If any on is interested in this please let me know either through this thread or PM

Here are some unfinished pictures of the one I made for my car

hmm i guess i was just looking to remove the ashtray and have it completely smoothed over. air scoops centers removed smoothed over and fiberglassed to my side skirts. None of them really all that custom. so im not sure you'd want this. i found write ups for some of these jobs to make it easier but still not all that "custom"
