Only 96 SRV came with H22a. The 97+ for all models it was the stock engine.

Only 96 SRV came with H22a.

So what did the previous SRV's come with?

I thought all SRV's had H22's as well, except before 96 they were OBD1.

Umm....

93-95 SR-V h22a1 odb1
96 SR-V + 97-2001 h22a4 odb2

92-96 Lude models are S .... SR and SR-V in canada
Canadian models had heated seats and mirrors

in the states it is S ..... Si ..... and VTEC.
Some 92 Si's have 4WS.

Ther is also a SE model only made in 95 which is an Si with ABS, I believe.

In 94 Ludes got leather interiors and gauge clusters were changed from a backlit to a electrolumisent.

Not all of the 97-2001 models had the same block number but most are h22a4.

In the words of the Fresh Prince "OH SHE WHAT??!?!"
I knew there was a signifficant power increased in 96. I just didn't know the previous engine was also coded H22a. Anyone want to clarify this before I accept I am wrong?

Ther should be no power increase, maybe it was just the car you were in.

Im not as sure on 5th gens as I am on 4ths, but as they moved up in the years it went from 195 hp to 200hp between a year or some....

base model , type sh model, and also a SS model which was the sport shift. SH has the ATTS which is active torque transfer system, which is a form of LSD almost...... Heavier then the base, but it also came with stock body kit. In Japan you could get a type s model, with type s pistons 11.5:1 CR, honda facotry P&P, type s camshafts, type s intake... Type S factory wing.... Dynoing around 217ps (220hp)...

Probably one of the most rarest JDM engines.

no change in power from '93-96 SRV's.
All of them came with the H22a1.
The only difference between (performance wise) is '96 had OBDII. All had 190hp.

'97-'01 are all H22a4.
in 99 they bumped it up to 200hp from 195hp.
But all SS trannies still have 195hp.

00-01 SS trannies have 200 hp as well, according to the data sheet at the dealers.

You just lose about 5 hp to the ground compared to stick, but both cars have identical engines so the numbers are to the flywheel.
