hey guys,

i have a Panasonic KX-TG2770S phone for sale . You only need to plug the base into a phone jack and then you can add up to 8 cordless recievers . This phone is also an aswering machine which allows you to have 3 seperate mailboxes . It comes with a hands free speaker function too . Phone pretty much does everything except makes call for you . I bought it a year and a half ago for around $230 CND but it has come down a bit and is now selling for around $150 USD.

to be honest we've rarely used the phone for long calls but it should be good as we usually had the cordless handset sitting in its charger

not sure what you mean by conditioned but i just had the handset sitting in the charger for like a day before i used it for the first time. the longest call ever made with it was like an hour and the longest its been out of the charger was like a day. i hope this answers your question.

conditioning is key, especially with brand new batteries. you basically charge it up 12+hrs the first time, drain it till it dies then charge it up again...has to be done 3x to have the maximum potential out of that battery. reason i ask is because, Nimh batteries can be quite pricey so if i were to have to replace the battery anytime soon, it would bring the cost up.

and another thing is, you mentioned it has been in the charger mostly. it could be overcharged as well...

EDIT: just read up that it uses NiCAD - uhhh not good :(
