well seems how there are threads on the Shames (sp mistake intended) and the Oil, i decided to start a canucks thread. yes i live in calgary so yes im expecting alot of trash talk, bash all you want, the canucks are a much more exciting team to watch.

but the canucks are facing the San Jose Sharks today and my prediction is 4 - 1 canucks. Naslund, sedin(one of em), jovo and an empty netter by kesler. the lone goal of the Sharks going to Stuart.

STUPID STUPID! The puck went in with 1:03 left in 3rd but Fraser didnt allow it. Don't blame him as u cant see in the overhead view, but you do see Auld pulling the puck out of the net after. I guess they cant use that angel for the video goal judge. The puck was clearly in the net.

The vancouver winning goal went in after net was dislodged. Wasn't intentional, SJ player tripped over sedin who shot the puck, rebound, SJ player had zero control and took out the net, carter scores after net's disloaded.

What I meant was Calgary needed to win 8 in a row to catch up and theyre basically tied now. However my point is Calgary has played really well and Vancouver has played pretty shitty and there all still in the same position. Whaddya guys mean :( ? Cloutier has sucked, for a while. He's prone to injury, and when he does play, he's not very stellar either. Auld has potential and makes some amazing moves, but he still makes mistakes that goalies shouldn't make. Between you guys, and Edmonton, it's hard to say who got the goaltending shaft worse...although Morrison may be a diamond in the rough, he's lookin pretty damn good. Oh, and our 3rd string Krahn ain't bad...so....Sauve for Naslund, how's that sound? :D

I heard a rumor on the radio last night, since cloutier is out for the rest of the year, there was talk that Jovo and Bert might be on the way to Florida for Luongo!!!! Agree with you that it's only the bandwagonners that get all pissed when Kipper lets a few slip. I will say that my jersey was only bought this year, but it has nothing to do with being a fan. It has more to do with being poor. I don't think Oilers/Canucks games are more entertaining than the Flames. I like watching them all to be honest. NEGATIVE. First of all a real hockey fan will watch the whole game second by second and will closely look at what calls did the refs make. Leopold hit on naslund was very fair and if you're a die hard fan of your team than obvisoly you wont like the calls made.

First, it was actually Nilson who he man-handled. Regher and Nilson switched on the play. Nilson is hardly a great defence player.
