I got to drive it around today to pick up my sled from the dealer (warrenty work) so I snapped a few pics while I had it loaded up.
The 60gal fuel tank was just installed to replace the factory one.

That's awesome. I gave my buddy a hand hauling some of his sleds out to where they were going last year. We went in a late 90's GMC 3500 Dually. No problem at all hauling all that crap around.

Kinda fun to do.

I'll be removing the sleds before I enter the next drifting event. Actually the truck does not lean any differently when cornering. It does have airbags installed in the rear to help rear sag.

My Dad and Brother raced the other night.
Bro's truck: GMC Z71 w/ vortec 350 w/ headers, exhaust, chip, pullies, intake.
Dad's truck: This diesel loaded with 2 sleds (600lbs each) + sled deck.

The diesel still smoked the Z71, hahah.

Nice pics!!

Wouldn't it be WAY cheaper on gas/equipment to tow them on a trailer though?

Ekliptix
12-01-2005, 11:22 PM
No way. We have a 4 place enclosed trailer too. It weighs 4000lbs+ by itself, plus it's a pain to manouver.

Holy sheeeit!

That'd be a hairy ride. What kind of HP numbers would that thing put out?

Ekliptix

~280hp.
There's nothing that sound like it at WOT. It serously sounds like an angle crying or something deep.
