is that Laguna Seca? damn, that is painful to look at but at least it doesn't look like the driver too much of that force since most of the damage is away from the driver area but holy crap thats some crazy negative camber on those wheels.

Owner foots the bill for that crash. I don't think he'd have any chance of isurance crashing on a race track.

Looking at the skid marks, the Lambo isn't the first one to lose it at that corner. You'd think they'd move the concrete barriers back further. It doesn't look like there's anything critical behind the barrier.

weird, that barrier isnt usually there. u can see one further in the background, and off to the right a bit. actually tho, behind that second barrier is the main paddock. just a little important. Ekleptik, any idea when this happened? i would kill to see a lambo on Road Atlanta, and im not far away...

o and BTW that is turn 12, a pretty flat-out downhill off-camber turn onto the front straight, very fast and very dangerous. people usually slide off the other way tho...ive seen many a driver gettin it all wrong on this corner and corner 7

sorry, no details. I can just imagine the driver's face as he/she's sliding towards the wall on the grass though. "no no No NONONO!"

The barriers weren't there before, they must be new. The reason they're there is because a lot of people lose it in that corner... I remember a Speedvision GT cup race (if I remember right) a few years back where an integra gs-r oversteered at the exit, headed towards the grass like the lambo sideways, and kept sliding till the tires dug into the dirt and did about 30 rolls. I guess smacking the barriers is safer than doing insane rolls.
